Camp Pokamoke
Ages 5-15
Children can choose from a wide range of camps, including horse, sports, archery and arts and crafts.

Summer Fun Club
Ages 5-12 (Downtown and Sarpy YMCAs accept 4-year-olds)
All-day, state licensed child care program.

Teen Discovery
Grades 7-10
Combines learning with fun activities, including field trips, leadership training, swimming, open gym, and service-learning projets.
Participation varies by branch.

See and learn about 200 years of area history while exploring museum exhibitions. The tour includes information on the history of the building, and winds through restored train cars, into a Native American Earth Lodge and Tipi, through recreated early Omaha city homes, and to the Trans-Mississippi Exposition of 1898.

- African Drumming Classes:Â Recent research indicates that drumming is a therapeutic engagement which accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system and produces feelings of well-being, a release of emotional trauma, and reintegration of self.
