Jardín de Niños Spanish Immersion Summer Camp

Ages: 2-6 (see website for details)

Dates: Summer Camp, July 15-19 -- Spanish Immersion in the City, June 17-21

Overview: Summer camp offers activities designed to get children exploring and "enjoying the beauty of being a child through nature, laughter, movement, and song as they are immersed in the Spanish language". Spanish Immersion in the City offers activities designed for the parent and child to explore and experience what it is to be immersed in learning a new language together through daily life. Dates: June 3 - July 26 -- seven separate one week sessions available

Overview: Mav Kids is a recreational day camp for children entering first grade through age 14.The camp features seven separate, one-week sessions. Each week offers a different theme and a variety of different activities.

The Durham Museum Summer Camps

Ages: 5-9+ (varies by class)

Dates: Begins June 3rd -- offering full day and half day classes.

Overview: Themes include a variety of topics such as history, science, contemporary topics, and dinosaurs. All of The Durham's Summer Camps are taught by certified teachers from the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. Before and after care is available to accommodate your schedule, along with lunchtime activities for those that stay the whole day. Overview: Activities include weekly themes: Soccer, Swimming, Basketball, volleyball, computer classes, Reading, Painting, Pottery, Archery, Creative Writing (for 5th, 6th and 7 graders), carpentry, drama, music, movies dance, and much more. Breakfast, lunch and a snack provided. No camp the week of July 4th.

Christ Child Camp Summer Programs

Dates: June 3rd - August 9th

Ages: 5-12

Overview: This ten week day camp offers a variety of fun, active learning opportunities under the supervision of licensed teachers and camp counselors certified in CPR and AED. Weekly themes and field trips allow children to make new discoveries and explore a variety of activities both at the Urban Safari Camp and throughout the city of Omaha.

Overview: The Kent Bellows Studio & Center for Visual Art is an after school arts mentoring program. Summer semester runs from May 28th through August 2nd, Tuesday through Saturday 3-6pm. We are seeking youth who are passionate about the arts and committed to their own education. Past experience with art is not required, instead we are looking for people who think 'outside the box' and are interested in have new creative adventures.
